Microarray Analysis System is a scanning laser confocal fluorescence microscope that is used to determine the fluorescence intensity of a two-dimensional array of spots on a bio-chip or microarray. Sample Size: Standard or metric slides 1 in. x 3 in. (25 x 76 mm), 1 mm thick. Scanning Field: 22 mm x 73 mm. Pixel Resolution: User selectable for each acquisition 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50 mm. Excitation Wavelengths: User selectable, depending on the model, from 488 nm to 633 nm. Emission Wavelengths: User selectable, depending on the model, from 500 nm to 700 nm. Sensitivity: less than or equal to 0.1 molecule fluor/per micro-meter squared. Scan Speed: 20 scan lines/sec. less than 6 minutes for a full-field scan. 2 sec. slide ejection/retraction.
